Content Standard:
H31a (Nutrition/Personal Health): The learner will explain the relationship between food, energy, and health.
H31b (Nutrition/Personal Health): The learner will describe how to choose healthful snacks.
H31h (Growth and Development) : The learner will describe different ways to exercise and the benefits aerobic exercise has on the cardiovascular system.
H31n: The learner will identify the link between healthy choices and being healthy.
H35 Decision-making Skills: Students will demonstrate the ability to use goal-setting skills to enhance health.
Prerequisite Skills:
The students need to be familiar with the food pyramid.
The students need to know how to read the labels on the back of food products.
The students need to be familiar with how to use a digital camera for making videos.

The students will be able to create a persuasive television commercial persuading their viewers to make healthy health- related choicese.
The students will be able to use the decision-making process when making health-related choices.
